Sorry for missing the update last week. Life caught up to me. Back in the saddle for this week...
Happy Memorial Day
Just wanted to wish everyone here in the states a Happy Memorial Day. And thanks to all those who serve to protect all the freedoms we have!
Division to beat?
For the first time in what seems like forever, Fenway Faithful are not completely running away with their division. Still in a first place tie with division foe MacGruber, the faithful have hit a few speed bumps the past few weeks losing to then win-less All-Stars and recently to the injury riddled Isotopes of Springfield. And to top it off, MLB is now reportedly looking to suspend upwards of 20 players for PED use in connection with Biogenesis, and three of the 20 reside on the Faithful roster. Arod, Braun and Gio Gonzalez are all in MLB's cross-hairs, making for a tenuous situation for this league's Gold Standard. It'snot easy being the best, but one thing still stays the same. When you are the best, like Faithful, you find ways to overcome all these obstacles. Speaking of Biogenesis...
Biogenesis
Can you believe this? How long has it been since McGuire and Sosa or Congress and Palmero? It never seems to end for MLB. Here is a link to the most up to date list of guys potentially getting suspended in the near future. Shameful.

LTIR Reminder
Gonna leave this up for one more week. Just one last reminder that when requesting a player to be added to the LTIR, you MUST include a LINK to that player being placed on the 60 Day DL. Citing a story, twitter feed or anything else is unacceptable. I have been adding payers to the LTIR with just the cited story and asking those who have not included a link to correct it after the fact. From this point on, however, any player being added to the LTIR without a proper link WILL NOT be added to the LTIR by the LM's UNTIL a PROPER LINK is POSTED. It just comes down to the fact that that's how the rules are laid out and we all need to take a moment to follow them. Now that the lecture is concluded...
