Congrats to JSAS for winning their first game, defeating of all teams FENWAY FAITHFUL!
No more ZEROS
Less than 2 months in and we no longer have any teams with zeros associated with their records. The amazing part is it took exactly one matchup to bring this about. Our newest member, Tim, shocked the fantasy world this week with a 2012 Houston Astros upsetting the 1927 Yankees type of victory over Fenway Faithful, the league's most decorated franchise. All-Stars were a prime candidate for a regime change when Tim took over, and it looks like new ownership has done the trick as JSAS are looking on the up and up. As for the Faithful, no need to shed any tears. They are still tied for first overall in the league with Chippy's Monkeys and are facing a slumping M*A*S*H squad called The Springfield Isotopes this week which should bolster Fenway's hopes of rebounding. But, with Fenway being tied with Chippy, and having division rival MacGruber and other league foes 2008 Champs and Running Riot sitting 1 game back at 5-2, Faithful can't become complaisant or their top spot may not be theirs for long!
LTIR Reminder
Just one last reminder that when requesting a player to be added to the LTIR, you MUST include a LINK to that player being placed on the 60 Day DL. Citing a story, twitter feed or anything else is unacceptable. I have been adding payers to the LTIR with just the cited story and asking those who have not included a link to correct it after the fact. From this point on, however, any player being added to the LTIR without a proper link WILL NOT be added to the LTIR by the LM's UNTIL a PROPER LINK is POSTED. It just comes down to the fact that that's how the rules are laid out and we all need to take a moment to follow them. Now that the lecture is concluded...
Week seven trophies are coming. Stay classy San Diego!
