Little over a month in, and the first regular season trades have been made! Bold MovesJust when I was ready to do the update, low a behold two trades were made. First, CA Flash traded Danny Espinosa, Manny Machado, and Ian Desmond to Baggers for Pablo Sandoval and Marco Scutaro. Moments later, Flash made another trade with Champs sending Clay Buchholz, Vance Worley, and Josh Willingham while receiving Daniel Nava, Jeremy Guthrie and Travis Wood. On the surface it would seem that every team got something they needed or were looking for. Baggers got solid young depth, Champs got the high end SP they were looking for and Flash got a ton of solid pieces to help them out right now making this a win/win for everyone involved. Time will only tell if these moves were the moves that set any of these teams over the top, but you would think that none of them hurt themselves either. It was only a short time ago on these very updates that I posted a reminder to the league to set their blocks in attempts to nurture trades. it's good to know the league's front office still has some sway around here Week five trophies are coming soon. Have a great week folks! Top HitterM. Cabrera 73 ---> Springfield Isotopes Top PitcherJ. Verlander 98.1 ---> Fenway Faithful Top TeamFenway Faithful 436.9
