I don't like that right now I can't even make trade proposal, if my roster will be invalid after trade.
Can you change something? I definitely opposed to such strong restriction.

Sorry, i have no control over that. It erks me as well, but that's ESPN's rule. The only thing you can do is make your roster valid by taking the ineligible players off the dl and either putting them on your roster or cutting them. Sorry.

But I even don't know, whether will accept an owner my proposal. That's why I have moved all my leagues (except football) to Fantrax and never regreted about it.

Well all I can say is that I would love to change the rule but I can't. You could send an email to ESPN complaining about it, but I don't think you will have much luck.
As for moving the league, I have no real love for ESPN but moving isn't my decision. You would have to talk to Jim about that. All I can say about Fantrax is that they are going to start charging $60 US for premium options" a year. We want this to be a free league so any kind of payment at this time is against what we want to do. I would also suggest that unless a site offered all of the options we would want such as a farm team, full editing of all stats, etc that we would want, it makes no sense to move anyhow.
And just to be clear, ESPN will allow you to drop players in order to get you roster compliant, but it will not allow you to make adds or trades until it is compliant

I don't like it either, but sadly there are certain idiosyncracies with ESPN that we have to deal with. You will simply have to cut enough guys to make your team's roster compliant with ESPN's regulations.
I have no intention of moving the league at this time. I have looked into fantrax in the past, and while I like what they offer it still isn't perfect. I'm not going to move from one site to another unless that site will take care of everything this league needs. Starting next year some of our basic needs (draft pick trading) will become premium features at fantrax, and will require payment. Since I have no intention of making this a pay league, fantrax is no longer an option for me.

Red - if you are trying to make a trade proposal, just send an email. You dont need to propose the trade officially through ESPN until you have talked it out using email. That way you can suggest and work out the trade then when the other owner accepts (via email) you can make any needed roster moves needed to actually do the trade. At least then you will know the other owner will accept and you wont cut players and then have the other owner reject the trade.

Ok... I understood your intention. I have just different vision on this problem. In all my leagues owners can keep illegal line-up between scoring periods.
No problem... I accept current rules.
