Enjoy the Holiday!
I know this is exactly the same thing I had up last week but I just wanted to hand out the trophies and make a couple announcements before the holiday. In case you missed my message from last week, here it is again for your viewing pleasure!
With this week being Independence day here in America, and the chances of me getting an update posted on time dropping exponentially with the amount of beer I drink, I'd just like to wish all of our American owners and safe and happy Holiday in advance. Enjoy 2011's fireworks from the cradle of liberty down the street from the Philadelphia Art Museum (yes that's the steps Rocky ran up). Happy Birthday America! See you all back here next week!
A small bit of Etiquette
Today, Ed Schreiber decided to no longer be a part of the league. We wish him good luck with future endeavors. In a fit of anger he also decided to cut his entire team to waivers before he left. I have replaced those players back onto Bomberz roster. We are currently looking for a new owner to replace him (so if anyone has someone who might be interested please feel free to email me) but until we do, I will be setting his lineups to make sure there are no free wins. We will not be making any adds for Bomberz, or trades for that matter, so that we can keep the current roster in tact for a new owner.
Let me just say, if anyone wishes to leave, please email me or Jim and at least give us a heads up so we can find a new owner before you go. We try to make this run as smooth as possible, and a little common courtesy goes a long way. Now none of you guys are guilty of this, obviously, and I never thought I would have to point this out until today. A simple email letting us know you want out is all we ask and we move as quickly as possible to find a replacement. It goes without saying, we will not allow an outgoing owner, whomever they are, to ransack a team leaving. That just isn't fair to anyone.
RED is HOT
Had to just point this out, as I like to mention when league records are broken, but last week as far as I can tell Mat Latos set a new FPBL record (in a 7-day week) scoring a whopping 132.2. 2 CG, 2 W's, 20 k's will dominate I suppose, 132.2 is crazy. It goes without saying that the top pitcher trophy wasn't even close this week LoL.
2012 FPBL All-Stars to be announced
Next week I will be announcing the 2012 FPBL All-Star Team. Stay tuned!
Trophies for weeks 12 have been assigned. Have a great holiday!
WEEK 12
