Flurry of trades
With the MLB All-Star Game quickly approaching, one would think that there would be at least a few teams that would be all but out of it at this point. If you thought that though you would be wrong. Right now, The Beanbaggers & PA 1 Eyed Willies sit with the league's worst records at 2-8. 2-8 leaves both teams just a mere 3 games out of the last playoff position meaning this league is totally up for grabs. Because that is the case, it makes the activity in the league over the last few weeks very interesting. since the last update, there have been 8 trades accepted. Usually its held that most teams make their big move near the trade deadline, but with the league being as close as it is we are seeing more teams make big moves now in hopes of improving their playoff chances. Is this the smartest thing? Perhaps standing pat in an attempt to get a good deal closer to the deadline would be wiser. Only time will tell, but it sure makes for an interesting league!
Faithful getting by undefeated
The past two weeks, Faithful have continued their torrid start while looking a little bit human, but just a little. In both weeks he got down and managed to squeak out wins vs Champs and Topes besting his record to 10-0. The perennial powerhouse Faithful never manage to disappoint with their dominance and having beaten both Champs and Topes now set up and epic matchup later on with Riot. Riot, with only 1 loss so far, is as close to an even match as we get. If things stay as they are we could be in for an epic matchup of the titans. Faithful has to lose eventually, doesn't he?
