I'm not entirely sure how you can say pitchers are setup to fail, considering the huge numbers they can put up on any given night. I agree that there are some flaws in the system that I hope to address, but setup to fail? I can't say I agree with that.
I've said it before, the main issue with me is twofold. First, I despise streaming, plain and simple. Want to talk about taking the fun out of the league, let's talk about the championship being decided not by smart drafting, trading, and team building, but by the adding of a ton of pitchers on the last day to maximize stats. That, in my mind, isn't fun and takes any and all enjoyment out of the league for me. Even as a spectator I was enjoying the hell out of our championship matchup, right up until the last day when both teams maxed out their SPs. At that point I simply stopped caring who won, and that's a shame.

I use to despise streaming as well, but streaming more often then not, hurts those who are actually the ones streaming.
And yes, this league is setup for pitchers to fail. At the same time, the league is setup for those who drafted good pitching to succeed. Streamers in this league especially are setup to fail. Just look at the negative stats for pitchers.
Earned runs - 4
Losses - 10
Blown Saves - 10
Hits Allowed - 2
Walks Issued -2
If you want to combat streaming, open up more SP or P slots. The less pitchers you have on the wire, the harder you make it for owner A to to stream. In a 16 team league, guys like Edwin Jackson, Ryan Dempster and Wade Davis shouldn't be available on the wire.
